This project is an exhibition designed to provide shelter for the homeless by transforming the first floor of the Harvard Graduate School of Design’s building. By turning the seven columns on the ground floor into minimalist housing units, the installation offers a temporary space for rest and privacy. Each column is equipped with curtains and a sleeping surface to create individual "houses," offering a simple yet functional response to the need for shelter. Two doors separate the first-floor shelter from the upper levels, ensuring that the space is available for the homeless at night. This exhibition rethinks architectural necessity, proposing a direct and human-centered solution for those living on the streets.
