Fissure refers to a narrow opening or crack, naturally formed or caused by human activity. This concept drives the design of the project, inspired by the fissure-like marks on cut limestones. The 'fissure' functions in three ways: as a visual device, offering glimpses into the raingarden courtyard; as an aperture, providing light and ventilation through narrow openings; and as circulation, guiding movement while raising questions about the integration of structural, climatic, and spatial elements.
